Space Jamboree

This collaboration with Lazy Susan Theater Company turned a potential rivalry into a community-building and fundraising smash hit.

When we realized that both Sandbox Theatre Collective and Lazy Susan were producing space-themed plays in Spring 2026, I reached out as Manager of Partnerships to collaborate on fundraising and marketing—could we work together to multiply the audience for each, and raise additional production funds while we were at it?

This partnership included a bundle ticket deal and social media collaborations, but most excitingly culminated in an event at long-time Sandbox partner My Buddy’s. At the Space Jamboree event, door cover, drink profit-sharing, raffle tickets, and pay-to-sing karaoke provided multiple avenues of fun and fundraising for our productions.
